Will you sign our NDA?

Yes, and a sensitive project can stay off the portfolio.

Do you take photographs?

No. Stills are frames pulled from the footage, so they match the video exactly.

What is a video podcast?

A podcast recorded on camera as well as audio, so each episode works as a full video on YouTube and as short clips for socials. In 2026, 40% of Australians watched a video podcast in the past month (Edison Research, Infinite Dial Australia). Episodes are quoted individually, from a single session to a series.

The terms, plainly

Deposit: 20% within 7 days of signing confirms the date. The balance is due once you approve the final edit, and the final files follow once it’s paid.
Cancelling or moving a date: One free move with 14 days’ notice; the deposit carries over. Cancelling keeps the deposit; within 14 days of the shoot, 50% of the fee is due.
Weather: If the forecast rules out an outdoor shoot, we decide together 24 to 48 hours before and move it to the next date that suits us both, at no cost.
Revisions: Two rounds on every project. Further rounds are $150 each.
Delivery: First edit within two, three or four weeks depending on the size of the project, in the formats agreed at the brief.
Ownership: You own the finished videos and stills outright, with no usage window. Raw footage can be bought as an addition. The finished videos can appear in my portfolio unless you’d rather they didn’t.
Travel: Included within Greater Sydney. Anywhere else is quoted with the project.
GST: Sawa Studios isn't registered for GST, so none is charged.
